Our Center for Children Offers Nurturing Environment for Kids

Each day, youngsters in our Center for Children learn something new.  Through physical and intellectual activities, our preschool and kindergarten children develop their skills in a nurturing environment.

Quality and affordable day care is available for children ages six weeks to five years.  After-school programs and Summer Day Camp serve children ages 6-12.   Call 313-494-4400 for details.

It's Time to Enroll for Summer Camp!

Kids just love our Summer Day Camp!  Every day, there are activities designed to keep children active and to stimulate their minds.   Camp runs from June 23 to August 22. You can register now by calling 313-494-4400.

Children go horseback riding, golfing, swimming, and fishing.  They participate in academic games, crafts, dancing, and a popular annual trike-a-thon. Field trips have included visits to the African American Museum, Cosi Science Center and Toledo Zoo. 

Camp Donations Eligible for Skillman Match

Exciting News – Focus: HOPE's Center for Children Summer Camp has been selected to participate in the 2008 Detroit Free Press Summer Dreams Program.  Summer Dreams was created to benefit deserving summer camps for kids.  It allows for donations designated for Focus: HOPE's Summer Camp to be doubled by matching contributions from the Skillman Foundation. 

Donations received between May 1 and August 1 will be eligible for Skillman Foundation matching funds.  To help Focus: HOPE maximize its benefit from this program, please send contributions to:
