Youth Development Programs

Youth Diversity

Students participating in one of Focus: HOPE’s many leadership and diversity programs.

Focus: HOPE has been driving successful youth development for over 15 years through the efforts of its Community Arts department. Currently, the organization delivers cultural competence/diversity training and academic enrichment opportunities to teenagers in the larger metropolitan area and immediate Focus: HOPE neighborhood. Students access creative media and traditional arts education, cultural diversity training and pathways to academic achievement. Programs align with the organization’s mission as they guide youth to overcome the effects of racism, poverty and injustice
