Holiday Special Delivery
Saturday, December 20, 2014
Volunteers will fan out across the metropolitan area to deliver special holiday food boxes to senior citizens who participate in our food program.  We aim to provide 1,200 seniors with fresh food in addition to the packaged food they receive each month.  Volunteers will pick up the food boxes between 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at our Food Warehouse, 1200B Oakman Boulevard, and then make the deliveries.  The seniors live in Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw and Macomb counties. Volunteers can select zip code areas to make their deliveries.   To volunteer for the project, call 313.494.5520.
