Quality Systems at Focus: HOPE - TS 16949

TS 16949 “Quality assurance for our customers in manufacturing.”

Since 1990, Focus: HOPE Manufacturing has been a supplier of machined parts to the automotive industry. Its manufacturing operations provide revenue to support the manufacturing engineering degree programs at the Center for Advanced Technologies, and afford students real-world, hands-on manufacturing experience integrated with their academic studies.

Focus: HOPE Manufacturing has achieved both TS 16949 certifications, and has been given a Q1 quality rating from the Ford Motor Company.

The scope of Focus: HOPE Manufacturing’s TS 16949 certification encompasses the following areas:

• A management system providing services to solicit contracts, acquire raw materials, tools and equipment, technical support, and workforce training for the manufacture of metal components, assemblies and hoses, in compliance with TS 16949
• The manufacture of engine and other components, parts and assemblies for first fit, service or after market in metals, in compliance with TS 16949.
