Our tuition-based program supports child development for infants and toddlers, ages 6 weeks through 2½ years. Full-day classes fit working parents’ schedules, while helping your little one build the skills and milestones, they’ll need for a strong start in pre-k and kindergarten.

  • Child must be between 6 weeks through 2 1/2  years old

Strong Beginnings

Next

Strong Beginnings is a special program for 3-year-olds, preparing for pre-k. We offer a full-day class that emphasizes hands-on-learning and development of basic skills in preparation for pre-k. The day includes breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.

Strong Beginnings is state-funded, so there is no cost to qualified families.

  • Families must live in Wayne County

Great Start Readiness

Great Start Readiness is a preschool program for four-year-olds. We offer a full-day class that emphasizes hands-on learning, opportunities for creative expression, and development of basic math and reading skills. The day includes breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.
