Eleanor’s March 4 HOPE 2023

Focus: HOPE is happy to have another successful March 4 HOPE under our belt! We are so grateful to be here to celebrate 55 years of Focus: HOPE and the mission that was created in 1968 by our founders, Father William Cunningham, and Eleanor Josaitis and excited to begin the journey to 55 more years.

Our mission is more needed and relevant now than ever before, and while that is an unfortunate truth of the world we live in, it is a trust testament to the importance of Focus: HOPE and other organizations like us.

This year it was very important that we took time to celebrate the good fight we’ve fought for over 5 decades and using Eleanor’s March 4 HOPE as the setting to do that was a no brainer. Together, our staff we set out to celebrate our achievements and milestone year by transforming our Center for Children parking lot into a fun, interactive space including entertainment, activities, a bounce house, 360 video booth, a train for the little ones and more. The day came together beautifully in celebration and the weather shined down on us as we marched down Oakman Blvd holding our signs.

We want to send a special thank you to Representative Helena Scott and Congressman Shri Thanedar for speaking during our march program, WDIV-Local 4 for being this year’s presenting sponsor and all of you that attended this year’s festivities.

Here’s to 55 more years!
